The EARS results seem to be somewhere between uncompensated and compensated here. If I'm reading the delta correctly, the whole range from 4 kHz up is about 5 dB underrepresented, 6-7 kHz arguably even more. You will need much higher-Q filters than you're currently using to address the 5 kHz peak and 4 kHz dip properly.The KPH30i's headband is definitely a weak point in the design. A lot of people have had it snap at the adjustment point, so don't feel like you're doing something wrong if yours breaks there. But if you can bend the clamp it really helps the comfort.The KPH30i focuses all of its clamping force directly on my ears and they get quite painful within 10-15 minutes. And because the KPH30i headband is plastic, you can't bend it to lessen the clamp (and the KPH30i headband is commonly known to snap, so make sure to treat it gently).
